A New Day, A New Year, It’s 2010!
01 Jan 2010, written by Dustin Mooney 0 CommentsHappy New Year! Well we’ve made it through 2009! It’s 2010 baby and everyone’s looking forward to a better year. We have the winter Olympics coming up really soon in Vancouver, some awesome football. I can’t wait to watch some of these college bowl games… especially the Championship. Go Bama! I can only hope that this year will be better for everyone. I know that most people had a rough year last year, especially with the economy and the job market, or lack thereof. But the stock market rebounded toward the end of last year and ended in green, so there’s a lot to be optimistic about. 2010 also means it’s time for midterm elections, it will be really interesting to see how it turns out. I am a little bias, but I think the Republicans are going to have a good year.
But most importantly I hope that it’s just a good year for everyone! I am looking forward to it and hope that it will be a successful year for all. I’m pumped, 2010, let’s do it!
End of the Semester, Final Exams
09 Dec 2009, written by Dustin Mooney 0 CommentsI just wanted to give everyone an update. This week (and into next week) is finals week for me. The semester is coming to an end and the Holiday season is upon us. I am not going to be posting as much because of everything going on. I should be back to normal after next Monday’s exam but until then I am going to have to study.
Balloon Boy Parody (Music Video)
22 Oct 2009, written by Dustin Mooney 0 CommentsWow, this was hilarious. It shows you how stupid the whole balloon boy story was in the first place. A group of kids put together a music video, based on the original “I’m on a Boat” song, and to be honest, I liked it a lot more than the original song. The music video was meant to parody the “balloon boy” incident from a little while back.

What Is America’s Role In The World? How Far Should We Go?
I like many Americans am questioning Obama's decision to send troops to Haiti. I feel awful for the people in Haiti and hope only the best for them. But we are fighting in two wars right now, we have an economy still in shambles, people are losing jobs left and right, and the President is fully focused on health care. So should we be sending troops to help that nation when we have so many other problems we need to focus on?
