Today there was an attempted terrorist attack onboard a Delta flight en route to Detroit. A Nigerian man allegedly tried to ignite a powdery substance as the plane neared its destination on Friday in an effort to blow up the aircraft, a senior U.S. counter-terror official told the AP. The White House released a statement calling it an “act of terrorism.”

09 Nov 2009, written by Dustin Mooney 0 CommentsAlright, if you’ve been living in a whole lately, then you might now of heard about the new movie being released on November 13th. 2012 is based on the ancient Mayan calendar saying that the world would end on Decemeber 21st, 2012. I like the Bill Maher joke: If the Mayans could predict the future then how come they didn’t see Cortez coming? I mean the whole premise is a little out there. But I will say, the title’s better than Snakes on a Plane. Overall the movie looks okay I guess, but I can’t say that I will see it, at least not in theaters.
Terror Suspect Posed for Photos at Ground Zero

This is something I read on one of my new favorite sites, The Smoking Gun. The FBI arrested a man in Massachusetts on terrorism charges. The suspect is supposed to have gone to Ground Zero, the main site of the attacks on September 11th, 2001 in New York City, and posed for celebratory photos in front of the hallowed ground.

What Is America’s Role In The World? How Far Should We Go?
I like many Americans am questioning Obama's decision to send troops to Haiti. I feel awful for the people in Haiti and hope only the best for them. But we are fighting in two wars right now, we have an economy still in shambles, people are losing jobs left and right, and the President is fully focused on health care. So should we be sending troops to help that nation when we have so many other problems we need to focus on?

Tiger Doesn’t Let A Little Bad Press Keep Him Down, Still Seeing Rachel Uchitel
There are reports from InTouch Magazine that Tiger Woods is still seeing Rachel Uchitel. His yacht, Privacy, has been seen in Palm Beach, FL where Rachel Uchitel has also been spotted. She refused to comment on the situation, saying she was just visiting her family.
