President Obama Uses Telepromter in 6th Grade Classroom

Really Mr. President? Really? I mean do you have to bring T.O.T.U.S. (Teleprompter of the United States) with you on every trip? Blogs are popping up like crazy about the President’s teleprompter. But the question is, what the hell could be so hard to remember about a speech that you’re giving to a bunch of 6th graders? I not thinking you’re speech has to be that in-depth. I mean as long as you cover the homework and not getting into trouble, you should be good.

What Is America’s Role In The World? How Far Should We Go?

I like many Americans am questioning Obama’s decision to send troops to Haiti. I feel awful for the people in Haiti and hope only the best for them. But we are fighting in two wars right now, we have an economy still in shambles, people are losing jobs left and right, and the President is fully focused on health care. So should we be sending troops to help that nation when we have so many other problems we need to focus on?

A New Day, A New Year, It’s 2010!

A New Day, A New Year, It’s 2010!

Happy New Year! Well we’ve made it through 2009! It’s 2010 baby and everyone’s looking forward to a better year. We have the winter Olympics coming up really soon in Vancouver, some awesome football. I can’t wait to watch some of these college bowl games… especially the Championship. Go Bama! I can only hope that this year will be better for everyone. I know that most people had a rough year last year, especially with the economy and the job market, or lack thereof. But the stock market rebounded toward the end of last year and ended in green, so there’s a lot to be optimistic about. 2010 also means it’s time for midterm elections, it will be really interesting to see how it turns out. I am a little bias, but I think the Republicans are going to have a good year.

But most importantly I hope that it’s just a good year for everyone! I am looking forward to it and hope that it will be a successful year for all. I’m pumped, 2010, let’s do it!

Obama Get’s Lucky… Real Lucky

Wow, Obama sure did get lucky in the past month or so. No he didn’t pull a Clinton, although no one would know if he did because he can define the word “is”. He got lucky with the troop surge in Afghanistan. If he had chosen not to increase troop levels in Afghanistan and Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab had been successful in his attempt to blow up Northwest Flight 253 then Obama would have had to kiss any chance he had a reelection goodbye. His luck is one thing, but his handling of the attempted attack was another. The only word to describe that is, awful!

Terrorist Tried to Blow Up Airliner, Lit Himself on Fire Instead

Today there was an attempted terrorist attack onboard a Delta flight en route to Detroit. A Nigerian man allegedly tried to ignite a powdery substance as the plane neared its destination on Friday in an effort to blow up the aircraft, a senior U.S. counter-terror official told the AP. The White House released a statement calling it an “act of terrorism.”
